Tour #AtTheMoxy – PRIDE Edition w/ The LGBT Historic Sites Project

Tour #AtTheMoxy – PRIDE Edition w/ The LGBT Historic Sites Project

Check-In

In honor of NYC Pride, we are excited to collaborate with the LGBT Historic Sites Project on a walking tour of NYC.

About the Tour

Honor the people and events that have shaped LGBT history here in NYC, and who have impacted American history and culture. Starting at Christopher Park, join the expert team from the NYC LGBT Historic Sites Project for an exclusive tour to explore the pre- and post-Stonewall history of Greenwich Village. Walk with us and learn about the long-standing oppressive practices, which led to the 1969 Stonewall uprising and, before that, the 1966 “Sip-In” at Julius’ Bar. This 1 ½ hour-long walking tour of Greenwich Village will remind you why we march in celebration of Pride! Walking tour will take place rain or shine.

Want to join in? Shoot us a note at RSVP@MoxyTimesSquare.com

About The NYC LGBT Historic Sites Project

The NYC LGBT Historic Sites Project is the first cultural heritage initiative and educational resource to document historic sites connected to the LGBT community throughout New York City. This initiative was founded by preservation professionals to demonstrate the LGBT history is American history.

Ken Lustbader is co-director of the NYC LGBT Historic Sites Project. For over 25 years he has been documenting LGBT place-based history and was part of the team that advocated for the designation of the Stonewall National Monument.
